I am reminded of a story from my youth, working for my family's building supply business on Long Island, New York. The business was closely tied to the construction market, so when construction was up, business was good. But, when construction was down, so was the business.
The mid to late 70's were a down time for the industry. I can remember what now seems like a stream of people coming into the showroom sharing their tales of grief.
